The $1.2 billion Medical Center is a new 424-bed hospital and major training center for medical professionals. Bhate Geosciences was selected for the project based on our extensive experience with deep pile foundation systems in coastal subsurface conditions. The project consisted of three different pile systems including precast pre-stressed concrete piles, timber piles, and composite piles. The total length footage of piles installed on the project consisted of over 710,000 LF. BHATE also provided noise and vibration monitoring services during pile installation.
