


Uday R. Bhate, P.E.
Founder & President
Mr. Bhate brings 50 years of expertise in managing large, complex geotechnical design and construction materials engineering projects. He is renowned for delivering practical, cost-effective solutions to challenging site and subsurface engineering issues.
A licensed Professional Engineer across 13 states, Mr. Bhate has contributed to projects spanning 20 states and served as Principal Engineer on over 10,000 projects. These include many fast-track initiatives where design and construction were conducted concurrently, as well as projects with construction costs exceeding $3 billion. His exceptional contributions have earned him national recognition, including construction and engineering achievement awards and induction into the Associated General Contractors of Alabama "Construction Hall of Fame."
Mr. Bhate holds a Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Bombay and the University of Oklahoma. He earned his Master of Science in Geophysical Sciences from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
A sought-after speaker at engineering seminars, Mr. Bhate is also an active member of the Association of Dam Safety Officials. His community involvement includes serving on the boards of the Alabama School of Fine Arts Foundation and the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, and he is an engaged member of the downtown Kiwanis Club of Birmingham.
