ALDOT Northern Beltline

The Birmingham Northern Beltline is a 52-mile, six lane corridor that will eventually stretch from I-59 in northeast Jefferson County to the I-459 interchange with I-59/I-20 near Bessemer. BHATE has provided geotechnical services for design of certain ALDOT assigned segments on this major highway construction project and will continue to be involved with this project as the design and construction progresses. We have also provided bridge foundation drilled shaft installation pre-drilling services required by ALDOT for contractors constructing the bridges and installing foundations. When it comes to challenging geotechnical drilling work, ALDOT and contractors prefer to rely on the versatile equipment, and trained and safety conscious BHATE field drilling personnel.
