Proton International Breaks Ground on Proton Therapy Treatment Center

Proton Therapy Rendering

Proton International, in conjunction with the University of Alabama at Birmingham, broke ground on Proton International at UAB on January 31, 2018. This innovative facility will be the first proton therapy facility in the state and is expected to be treating cancer patients in 2020. Providing geotechnical engineering for the project, BHATE will be working closely with Proton International, the University of Alabama, architectural firm Stantec and general contractor Brasfield & Gorrie.
