Josh Bhate – Birmingham Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40

Congratulations to Josh Bhate on being named to Birmingham Business Journal’s “Top 40 Under 40”! The Top 40 list honors professionals who have distinguished themselves in their careers and the community before their 40th birthday.

Josh, who serves as Vice President of BHATE and manages the firm’s Environmental Team, also founded his own company Building Diagnostics & Property Science (BD&PS) in 2005.  BD&PS provides professional engineering consulting services to not only solve existing problems in buildings but also improve the performance of new buildings via building commissioning, building envelope consulting/testing, and evaluating energy management systems.

As the president and owner of Building Diagnostics & Property Science, he is the Principal CxA responsible for overseeing all Building Diagnostics’ projects.  He is a certified Commissioning Authority (CxA), a certified Building Commissioning Authority (CxA+BE), an accredited Qualified Commissioning Process Provider (QCxP), has earned Level III Air Leakage Certification for large commercial buildings, is a certified Level II Building Thermographer and has extensive experience with air and water infiltration in building envelopes.
